This is a yellow variation on the classic Florida heirloom Everglades tomato. It is hard to know if this is a mutation from the original red form of a different line of Solanum pimpinellifolium that has picked up the name Everglades later. The important thing is that this variety carries the same traits of Everglades that has made the original a Florida staple. Vines can grow through the steamy Florida weather when other tomatoes cannot survive. The plants are very robust and disease resistant. The flavor of yellow Everglades is less intense and less acidic to our taste. Overall this is a nice small cherry tomato for Florida gardens that brings a new color to our salads. ~ 40 seeds Solanum pimpinellifolium
