The next release under our Good Juice wine label is the new 2024 Good Juice ‘Pink’ rosé. Another collaboration with Dirty Black Denim winemaker, Lawrence Scanlon, and essentially a new vintage of our 2023 version with some slight tweaks.Once again, it’s 100% Sangiovese from the Corsini Vineyard in King Valley. Early picked and direct pressed but unlike the previous release, this vintage there’s a generous barrel ferment portion which was allowed to develop a light veil of flor yeast as well as a tank ferment portion. Blended post malolactic fermentation. No additives other than a small amount of SO2 at bottling.The result is a wonderfully balanced and nuanced rosé showing bright red fruit character supported by lovely nutty savoury tones. Great acidity, subtle leesy creaminess with wonderful structure and length. Strawberry, cashew, oats, creamy lees. Just like a strawberry yoghurt top muesli bar! Yum.
