Giorgio Di Maria ‘Fun Wines’ Piedmont collaboration with producer Benotti Rosavica. The two family vineyards, Bric in Priocca and San Michele in Govone are both located at about 250m above sea level and together comprise a little under 1ha. Nebbiolo was co-planted with Barbera and Dolcetto Lighter style Nebbiolo done in stainless steal, Neb with no oak is said to be traditional in the Langhe/Roero area according to winemaking books from the 1800s. The wine itself is a light ruby red. with a delicate nose of violets, rose petals, raspberries and a touch of tar. Upfront and cleansing cranberries and cherries with a slight herbaceousness coming through.
