No Adapter required for mounting the carburetor side ways as the intake manifold comes drilled for both positions The taller plenum we have found offers optimum performance across a wide rev range. Due to the engine not fitting flat in production vehicles the carb pad is machined on an angle so the carb fits flat. The centre of the carb is the highest part. The intake plenum is 87mm high
