A staple for the Florida herb garden. The thick leaves of this herb have a powerful scent and great flavor that lends itself well to all kinds of cuisine. We like to crumble up a leaf or two and toss it into food as we are cooking to impart rich flavor. Cuban Oregano is very easy to grow. It is a bushy herbaceous plant but in the right conditions can clamber up some into a fence or adjacent plants, especially when in some shade and in healthy growing conditions.
